Can it be this easy?
Apple report its Q2 Earning results tomorrow after the bell. And wether you are a Fan Boy/Girl or not, if you are an investor or trader in the market, you will be paying very close attention.
The Street's estimate is a tad lower than last quarters estimates and much lower compared to what Apple actually delivered.
We don't expect this quarter to be different. And we don't expect The Street to act differently either, as Apple has proven time after time (since the big iPhone 5 release failure) that they are a money making machine and innovation is at their heart. |
We will leave the numbers aside for now since we know Apple is very likely to beat them... What really has caught our attention is the R&R pattern Apple has been forming for a while now with a Rest and Rally at every Earnings Release.
Starting with the release of the iPhone 6, Apple has effectively rallied after every ER and taken a rest to reset all of the metrics MACD, RSI, etc. By doing so, Apple has reduced the top pressure while maintaining most of the gains. Apple has corrected itself about 10% after the initial rally every time. If that is not a healthy move on a stock, then I don't know what is then.
As mentioned above, tomorrow will be no different. The market will get great numbers and The Street will react accordingly.
If we get a different response from The Street on good earnings, then I guess we will pull our wallets out and go do some shopping as Apple Products would be on Sale!
